PURPOSE: A teaching pendant for controlling a robot is provided to intuitionally check information with a menu display part without directly inputting information on robot motions. CONSTITUTION: A teaching pendant for controlling a robot comprises a menu display part(110). The menu display part divides information on objects and information on robot motions by a block unit of figures or letters. The menu display part is selected by an input unit. The predefined pose parameters of the robot are automatically generates and the information of the robot motions are set and recorded.
