Method and device for analysing biological objects

Method for analyzing a biological object (1) comprises recording a digital holographic micro-interferometric image of the object and analyzing the object by evaluating the image. An independent claim is also included for a device for analyzing a biological object comprising a support unit (2) for holding the object, a digital holographic micro-interferometric image unit (9) for recording an image of the object and a unit for playing back the image of the object. Preferred Features: A three-dimensional image is recorded and evaluated. The object is analyzed using its morphology.
