PURPOSE: A flooding cutoff device for an apartment building elevator is provided to prevent the malfunction of an elevator due to rainwater by blocking the rainwater flowing into the elevator with rainwater blocking plates. CONSTITUTION: A flooding cutoff device for an apartment building elevator comprises a rubber bar(40), rainwater blocking plates(60,70), a channel member(90), and a nonslip rubber bar. The rubber bar comprises an inclined stop face(42) and is installed in the rear corner part of a rectangular frame(50) installed on the top of a drainage channel(30). A hinge part(62) of the rainwater blocking plates is coupled by a hinge pin(80). The rainwater blocking plates are installed in a hinge hole formed in the rectangular frame by a hinge shaft(82). The channel member has a holding groove(92) for fixing a free end(74) of the rainwater blocking plates erected in a triangle shape and is laterally installed on a boarding gate floor of an elevator. The nonslip rubber bar is inserted in the holding groove formed in the channel member.
