LIGHT GUIDE PLATE FOR BACKLIGHT UNIT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: Light guide plate for backlighting and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve directivity of light. CONSTITUTION: Light source(L) generates light. Light guide plate(200) is positioned near the optical source unit and includes top surface and lower surface. Light emission pattern(300) and the first directivity pattern(400) are positioned on top surface of light guide plate or lower surface of light guide plate. The first directivity pattern has the shape in which ridge and valley are repeatedly formed on top surface or lower surface of light guide plate following direction perpendicular to progressive direction of light generated from optical source unit. Light emission pattern and the first directivity pattern are positioned on the same face of light guide plate.
