PURPOSE: A main plate turn-over stopper for joint-welding a main plate for a ship is provided to minimize friction between a stopper and an end of the main plate by automatically inserting the end of the main plate into a stepped part of the stopper at a predetermined inclination. CONSTITUTION: A main plate turn-over stopper for joint-welding a main plate for a ship comprises an inclined part(22) where an end of the main plate touches, a guide hole(23) formed in the inclined part, a plurality of guide rollers(24) which are installed in the guide hole and protrude to the outside of the inclined part, and a supporting part(25) which is connected to one side of the inclined part so that a support stepped part(21) is between the supporting part and the inclined part. The end of the main plate in contact with the inclined part is moved into the support stepped part through the guide rollers, thereby inclining the main plate.
