<p>A method for processing Entitlement Control Message (ECM) packets is disclosed in the present invention. The method includes: a terminal receiving a broadcast code stream multiplexing frame and obtaining ECM packets from the received broadcast code stream multiplexing frame; and analyzing the ECM packet if the indicator of the ECM packet is judged to be inconsistent with the indicator of the locally stored ECM packet. An apparatus for processing ECM packets is also disclosed in the present invention, and the apparatus includes: a receiving module, an obtaining module, a judging module and an analyzing module. With the present invention, the efficiency of the terminal processing ECM packets is improved, and the limited resources of the terminal can be saved.</p> |
