METHOD FOR PROVIDING GROUP CALL SERVICE USING VOIP COMMUNICATION BETWEEN HETROGENOUS NETWORKS AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A group call service providing method using VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) communication between heterogenous networks and an apparatus thereof are provided to facilitate provision of a group call service using VoIP communication between heterogenous networks by a terminal. CONSTITUTION: A wireless communications unit(110) receives a first audio data encoded by a first codec from a first terminal. The wireless communications unit receives a second audio data encoded by a second codec from a second terminal. A processor converts the first audio data by the second codec. The processor converts the second audio data by the first codec. The processor controls the wireless communication unit in order to transmit the first audio data transformed by the second codec to the second terminal. The processor controls the wireless communication unit in order to transmit the second audio data transformed by the first codec to the first terminal.
