The method involves providing an automation component with a general working memory, and with a special work memory with quicker access. A part of the automating program is stored in the special work storage for operational time of an automation program. An input option (EM) is set or provided for assigning priority values (PW) to individual functions of the automating program for instructing an operator, while setting the automating program. A cache memory or a tightly-coupled memory is used as the special work memory. An independent claim is included for a programming system for creating an automation program for industrial automation component. |
