Object : To raise, in a remote control apparatus for a light vehicle which includes a transmission antenna (225) for transmitting a signal for urging a normal portable transmitter carried by a vehicle user to transmit an ID signal and a handle lock module (211) having a knob (212) for enabling at least starting operation of an engine and a handle lock cancellation operation in response to reception of an ID signal from the normal portable transmitter, the degree of freedom in arrangement of the transmission antenna (225). Solving Means: A transmission antenna (225) is disposed at a position spaced away from a handle lock module (211).
