[Class 113 (ii).] In constructions for connecting surfaces disposed at rightangles for example bulkheads to the skin plating an end connection D as described in Specification 349,854 is combined with an angle-bar G which is riveted to the flange of the bulkhead stiffener a and the other surface is in the same plane as the back of the channel stiffener when it is riveted to the end connection D. The construction may be applied to the connection of two stiffeners in the same line but on opposite sides of the bulkhead. The construction may also be employed in connection with the connecting-strip described in Specification 349,870.</p> |
