[Class 75 (iv).] In a road danger lamp a latch C is pivoted at or near the centre of the door A, projects through a kink or loop b formed at about the middle of a strengthening strip of metal B riveted adjacent the free edge of the door, and engages a projecting hasp or hook d formed on a strengthening strip D riveted to the inside of the adjacent side of the lamp. The edges of the door may be bent or rolled over with a flange adapted to overlap the beaded edges of adjacent sides of the lamp. |
