Ink composition and inkjet recording method

An ink composition is provided that includes (A) a monofunctional monomer comprising an acrylate monomer represented by Formula (I) and (B) a photopolymerization initiator represented by Formula (II), the monofunctional monomer (A) having a content of 30 to 90 wt %. There is also provided an inkjet recording method that includes (a1) a step of discharging onto a recording medium the ink composition according to any one of Claims 1 to 11; and (b1) a step of curing the ink composition by irradiating the discharged ink composition with actinic radiation.
