A system for calculating a composition to be loaded in each well of a protein assay, the system comprising: a cartridge, an image grabber; and a computerized facility, for analyzing from the light characteristic(s) reflected through each of the cuvettes, the total protein concentration of each sample and therefrom the composition of sample lysate and water, in volume quantities, to be loaded, said volume quantities calculated to be of equal total protein weight and equal solution volume in each well of protein assay, wherein said protein assay is every assay that requires equal loading of total protein weight and solution volume, thereby facilitating and shortening preparation for a protein assay.
