SPROCKET OF A BELT CONVEYOR

PURPOSE: A sprocket for a conveyor belt is provided to shorten time needed for assembling processes by simply disassembling and assembling the segments of the sprocket. CONSTITUTION: A sprocket(1) for a conveyor belt includes a pair of segments(100, 100'). The segments are semicircular. The segments include body parts(120) and fastening units. A plurality of teeth parts(121) is formed on the outer circumference of the body parts. Upper protrusions(111) are formed at one each upper side of the fastening units and at the lateral sides of the body parts. Lower protrusions(112) are formed at one each lower side of the fastening units.
