PURPOSE: A device for preventing a welding wire from tangling is provided to reduce bending of a guide unit toward a welding wire stack by inserting the guide unit in an opening of a cut part to touch the inner wall of a receiving container in the vertical direction. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing a welding wire from tangling comprises a wire pressing unit(100), a plurality of cut parts(200), and guide units(300). The wire pressing unit is located at the top of a welding wire stack(30) accommodated in a receiving container(10) and has a center hollow. The plurality of cut parts are arranged on one side of the wire pressing unit and formed with openings(210). The guide units are inserted in the openings of the cut parts and touch the inner wall of the receiving container in the vertical direction to guide the wire pressing unit while preventing a welding wire(20) of the wire stack from sticking out.
