PURPOSE: A composite seat back frame is provided for passengers to feel more comfortable by absorbing shock. CONSTITUTION: A composite seat back frame comprises a back frame, a shell plate(S), and a seating portion(200). The back frame is made of fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resins, and comprises a rib for reinforcing stiffness. The shell plate is locally welded on the rib of the back frame. The seating portion is formed on a part of the shell plate, and formed into a round shape. The thickness of polyurethane foam on the seating portion is thicker than the other portions so that passengers feel comfortable. |
