<p>The invention relates to a hybrid yarn (1) for producing molded parts (8) comprising a thermoplastic matrix and reinforcing fibres (4, 5, 6, 7) embedded therein, wherein the hybrid yarn (1) comprises a core (2) substantially made of staple fibres (4, 5) aligned in a straight line in the longitudinal direction (LR) of the hybrid yarn (1), and a cover (3) made substantially of staple fibres (6, 7) wound helically about the core (2), wherein the staple fibres (4, 5) forming the core (2) and the staple fibres (6, 7) forming the cover (3) each are made of an intimate mixture (4, 5; 6, 7) of thermoplastic matrix fibres (4, 6) and reinforcing fibres (5, 7).</p> |
