<p>PURPOSE: A content providing method and apparatus thereof are provided to store extracted meta data in separate DB(data base) by extracting the meta data of the content based on a content file. CONSTITUTION: An API(application programming interface) server(110) receives a content file including content from a first terminal. The API server receives a request for the content from a second terminal. A storage server(120) stores the content file. The storage server provides the content to the second terminal by using the content file. A file processing server(130) extracts the meta data of the content.
