MARINE GEARBOX BY USING POWER-SPLIT PLANETARY GEAR-TRAIN

PURPOSE: A marine gearbox for a vessel using a power-split planetary gear train is provided to improve spatial utility in a vessel engine by simplifying the structure of the marine gearbox. CONSTITUTION: A marine gearbox for a vessel includes a sun gear(20), a plurality of planetary gears(30), a carrier(40), a ring gear(50), a PTO gear(60), a carrier shaft(41), and a ring gear shaft(53). The sun gear is connected to the engine shaft of a vessel main engine. The planetary gears are engaged with the sun gear and are installed at the carrier. The internal of the ring gear is engaged with the planetary gears. The PTO gear is engaged with the external gear of the ring gear and is connected to a generator shaft. One side of the carrier shaft is connected to one side of the carrier. Another side of the carrier shaft is connected to a propeller shaft. One side of the ring gear shaft is connected to the ring gear. Another side of the ring gear shaft is connected to the propeller shaft.
