APPARATUS FOR CHANGING WELDING TIP OF A SPOT WELDING GUN

PURPOSE: A welding tip changer for a spot welding gun is provided to simple complete change of a welding tip by inserting the leading end of a shank to the bottom of a tip receiving portion so that the welding tip is coupled to the leading end of the shank. CONSTITUTION: A welding tip changer for a spot welding gun comprises a post frame(110), a tip separating unit, and a tip setting unit(150). A connecting plate is installed at the top of the post frame. The tip separating unit is coupled to a predetermined position of one side of the post frame. The tip setting unit comprises a body(152) coupled to the upper side of the connecting plate, a tip receiving portion(154) formed along the height inside the body, a tip insertion hole(156) which is formed in a predetermined position at the upper side of the body and connected to the tip receiving portion, and a cover(158) coupled to two sides of the body. The body is reciprocated along the width of the connecting plate by an equalizer member(160) installed at the top of the connecting plate.
