<p>Mobile Cantilever Platforms and Methods of Installation ThereofA method for construction or maintenance in an elevator riser comprises installing a mobile cantilever platform from a first working area adjacent the elevator riser into the elevator riser and installing within the elevator riser a temporary support structure on the mobile cantilever platform. The or another mobile cantilever platform is installed from a second working area into the elevator riser. The temporary support structure is supported and the temporary support structure is disconnected from the mobile cantilever platform extending from the first working area. The temporary support structure is displaced into alignment with the second working area, being displaced within the elevator riser.
