To increase the dielectric constant of tricresyl or other ester phosphates, after a purification process heat-treatment is applied at temperatures ranging from 105-165 DEG C. for periods ranging from about 10 to 2 hours. The esters thus treated may be used for impregnating paper or other absorbent separators for condenser electrodes. |
