<p>The invention relates to a needle selection method from a needle dial of a single-cylinder and double-bed circular knitting machine and a needle dial for carrying out the method.According to the method, the body of the needle dial is divided into a plurality of parts by the axis surrounding the body of the needle dial and each of the parts is equipped with a preset number of radial slots.Each of the selectors is equipped with two areas successively arranged within the longitudinal extension range of the selectors.The selectors are arranged inside the radial slots, so that one selector arranged inside the radial slots and at least one selection part are positioned in one of the two selection areas.Meanwhile, the selector arranged in the radial slot between two adjacent parts and at least one selection part are positioned in the other one of the two selection areas.The body of the needle dial rotates around its own axis with respect to a selection device.According to a preset selection program, the selection device is matched with a selection part of a preset selector corresponding to the needle of a knitting machine.</p> |
