FLOATING EQUIPMENT FOR ARMORED VEHICLES

The invention relates to floating equipment for providing tanks and floating armored vehicles with nautical properties with a view to extending the functionalities thereof. The inventive floating equipment comprises two water-permeable pontoons which are attached to the armored vehicle by means of fore and stern fittings, a wing which is mounted between the pontoons in front of the armored vehicle, is secured on the inner boards and can be arranged in different positions throughout the height and the angle of attack. The floating equipment is also provided with stern inserts. The fore end of the pontoon on the plane of sight is pointed, provided with a cistern and has smooth ship's lines. The stern part of the pontoon is enlarged in an L-type manner along the inner board. The bottom is flat and gradually transforms into a wedge extending towards the fore and stern ends. The bilge of the outer board is round. The armored vehicle provided with the claimed floating equipment exhibits the nautical properties which provide safety of floating, shallow-water and ground travelling and high fighting, protective and operational capacities.
