<p>The invention relates to a fusible mast (1) comprising a shaft (2) provided at one end with attachment means (3) for attaching said fusible mast (1) to a mounting with which same shares a transverse junction plane (P), characterized in that said mast comprises a controlled weakening area (4) separate from the attaching means and having a structure made of a different material, in order to have a maximum resistance moment less than that of the adjacent portions; wherein said controlled weakening area (4), which is produced without removing any material, is provided on the periphery of said shaft (2) and, in the event of a lateral shock of a predetermined intensity to said shaft (2), is capable of promoting the deformation and then rupture of said shaft (2), without any preferred orientation, at said weakening area (4), in order to enable at least the deformation of a portion of said shaft (2) relative to said attachment means (3).</p> |
