PURPOSE: A state monitoring apparatus of light rail transit is provided to control error occurrence by determining a conversion state of an image signal transmitted from a passenger car. CONSTITUTION: An image signal converter(110) converts an optical signal inputted from the outside into an electric image signal. One or more LCD(liquid crystal display) monitors(120-1~120-N) are installed at a plurality of passenger cars. The LCD monitor displays an image signal converted by the image signal converter. A communication unit(140) communicates with a server. A control unit(170) monitors a state which an optical signal is converted into an electric image signal.
