The package has a wall (4) defining a recess for receiving an end of a shutter. The shutter includes a first flap (9) joined by a fold line, where the first flap is articulated by another fold line to another wall (14) adjacent to the recessed wall. The shutter is slid along the wall until the first flap abuts against the end of a guillotine element, where second, third, and fourth flaps (10-12) of the shutter hold the shutter in place. The second flap is articulated to the recessed wall and folded over the first flap. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a bag-in-box (2) a blank of semi-rigid material such as cardboard or corrugated cardboard, intended to form the package (3) a method for producing the bag-in-box.
