CONTROLLER HAVING REDUNDANT CONFIGURATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time until the completion of takeover of control by safely switching a redundant system.

SOLUTION: A controller 1 is formed by connecting: a main system control module 10 having a host function part 30; an input/output module 70-n (n is a natural number) having a function part 71; and a standby system control module 10A-n having a function part 60-n and a host function part 30A-n, with a system bus 90. The main system control module 10 controls the input/output module 70-n, repeatedly notifies the function part 60-n of configuration information 31 comprising the connection of the function part 71 at predetermined timing. The standby system control module 10A-n retains the configuration information 31 received by the function part 60-n and, when the notification of the configuration information 31 is cut off, takes over and controls the input/output module 70-n on the basis of the configuration information 31-n.
