<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism which reduces operator's time and labor for distributing image data. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device can communicate with a server providing a micro-blog function which discloses messages registered by a user to other users. When image data is stored in a memory, the device registers a first message with the server, and monitors a second message to be newly registered for the registered first message.
