<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively and effectively prevent accumulation of snow on a light source device without using separate snow melting means such as a heater. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting device includes: a mounting substrate which has a first surface and a second surface located on a rear surface side of the first surface and in which a plurality of light-emitting elements which emit light in a direction approximately vertical to the first surface are mounted on the first surface; a plurality of heat transfer members which are provided between the plurality of light-emitting elements on the first surface of the mounting substrate and formed of a metallic material; and a protective member provided so as to cover the heat transfer member and the light-emitting elements.
