<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible sign pole whose deterioration is suppressed in use. <P>SOLUTION: At the lower end of a pole, a protruded portion and an eaves-like cover portion 44 are provided which are protruded outward. A base 5 has a supporting face for supporting the lower end of the pole. The supporting face is formed with a first recessed portion 55 into which the protruded portion of the pole is downward inserted and a second recessed portion which extends from the first recessed portion 55 in the peripheral direction so that the protruded portion can enter thereinto, and the upper part of the first recessed portion 55 of the base 5 into the second recessed portion of which the protruded portion enters is covered with the cover portion 44. Since the upper part of the first recessed portion 55 is covered with the cover portion, the entry of foreign matters such as sand or dust into the first recessed portion 55 is reduced to hardly cause the problem that the foreign matters induce the wear of or damage to the base 5 and the pole or become obstacles when removing the pole from the base 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
