PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for easily enabling secure pull-printing without the need for introducing an authentication system which is complicated in constitution and high in cost.

SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus 100 displays a printed data listed screen by user authentication when an authentication application 110 is actuated and displays a user-icon listed screen when the application is not actuated, and receives the selection of a specified user icon 705 or 706. By this arrangement, the image forming apparatus acquires a printed data list in which a user corresponding to the selected user icon becomes an owner, displays the printed data list screen, and brings about a printing indication standby state from the user.
