<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a logic circuit which can hold a switching state of a logic circuit even when supply of power supply potential is cut off, has a short start-up time of a logic block after power supply activation, can achieve low power consumption and can easily switch between a NOT AND (NAND) circuit and a NOT OR (NOR) circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A NOT AND (NAND) circuit and a NOT OR (NOR) circuit can be easily switched therebetween by switching a charge holding state to a node via a transistor having an oxide semiconductor. By using an oxide semiconductor material that is a wide bandgap semiconductor for the transistor, an OFF-state current of the transistor can be sufficiently reduced.
