<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for reducing a network device load connected to an IP network, when collecting logs in the event of a fault. <P>SOLUTION: A VoIP telephone system 1 (fault information collection system) includes: a mobile phone 3 (voice communication terminal) capable of voice communication through a LAN/WAN 2 (IP network); and a plurality of network devices (telephone number management server 4 and the like) connected to the LAN/WAN 2. When a fault occurs during voice communication, the mobile phone 3 includes an operation input unit 20 (input means) to enable a user 10 using the mobile phone 3 to input a fault type having occurred.
