<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt device in which no deformation occurs in an apparatus, and which has high maintainability of the apparatus including exchange of a belt member, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A belt device comprises: two side frames 130 respectively supported by two slide rails 140 and 150 disposed at a body of an image forming apparatus 100 on outside of the circumference of a belt member 8; a rear frame 110 constructed at a rear side between two side frames 130 and having box-shaped structure; a front frame 115 having a smaller projecting surface than the inner periphery of the belt member 8 as viewed from the front; a support frame 120 that supports the front frame 115 in cantilever state with respect to the rear frame 110; and triangular shaped reinforcing member 125 constructed between the side frames 130 and the rear frame 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
