<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change settings without looking aside from a through-the-lens image displayed on a rear surface display part. <P>SOLUTION: A display plate 13 and a touch panel 14 are arranged on the rear surface of a camera body 11. Selection items 17 for changing settings concerning an imaging condition are previously indicated on the display plate 13. The touch panel 14 includes a see-through display part 19 and a tablet 18. The see-through display part 19 is arranged on the front surface of the display plate 13 and displays a through-the-lens image 53 by the superimposition on the selection items 17. The tablet 18 is arranged on the front surface of the see-through display part 19 and outputs coordinate information for allowing a user to select a desired item from the selection items to be visually recognized through the see-through display part 19.
