<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic field generating member capable of enhancing rigidity and downsizing, a development device with the magnetic field generating member, a process cartridge, an image formation device, and a method for manufacturing the magnetic field generating member. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic field generating member comprises: a cylindrical body part; a body part groove with a rectangular cross section provided along the axial direction of the cylindrical body part on the outer peripheral surface thereof; and a long magnet compact fixed in the groove of the body part. A groove-shaped member with an U-shaped cross section is fixed in the groove of the body part. The long magnet compact is fixed in the groove of the groove-shaped member. The groove-shaped member is pressed and fixed in the groove of the body part. The groove of the body part is formed so that a width of the bottom surface is larger than that of the opening, and the groove-shaped member is formed so that a width of the floor part in the groove-shaped member is larger than that of the opening thereof when the groove-shaped member is pressed into the groove of the body part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
