<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve both band use efficiency and throughput in an overall system. <P>SOLUTION: Band allocation execution means is provided for arbitrating bands and transmission start timing in a plurality of termination devices. The band allocation execution means includes a first band allocation operation mode for allocating a fixed band and a second band allocation operation mode for allocating a variable band based on a band requested from each termination device. Communication monitoring means monitors the protocol type of signals exchanged with the plurality of termination devices on the basis of each termination device. When TCP protocol signals are exchanged, the communication monitoring means allows each termination device to execute band allocation in the first band allocation operation mode, whereas when TCP protocol signals are not exchanged, the communication monitoring means allows each termination device to execute band allocation in the second band allocation operation mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
