<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast wave receiver capable of appropriately switching between full-segment and one-segment broadcasts. <P>SOLUTION: The digital broadcast wave receiver comprises: an antenna part 10 which receives digital broadcast waves including, in a channel, waves of a weak hierarchy weak in error resistance and a strong hierarchy strong in error resistance, and outputs receive signals S1; a tuner part 20 which extracts frequency band signals of a select channel from the receive signals S1, and converts the signals into intermediate frequency signals S2; a demodulation part 30 which digitally demodulates the intermediate frequency signals S2 to produce demodulation signals S3; a decode part 40 which decodes the demodulation signals S3; a valid hierarchy determination part 50 which makes a judgment on whether each hierarchy is valid or invalid according to the qualities of the demodulation signals S3; an antenna identification part 60 which makes identification on whether the antenna part 10 is an antenna for a first use or one for a second use; and a decode-control part 70 which controls the decode part 40 to set a hierarchy to make a target for decode on the basis of the result of the judgment by the valid hierarchy determination part 50, and the result of the identification by the antenna identification part 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
