<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video receiver which can restrain the composition of a signal processing circuit from when a broadcast signal has its frequency converted to an intermediate frequency band to when it is demodulated from becoming complicated. <P>SOLUTION: A video receiver 200 comprises: a plurality of OFDM demodulation circuits 21a through 21n provided corresponding one for one to plural channels a through n to demodulate a broadcast signal which, after being received by a single receive unit 12, has been converted to an intermediate frequency band by a frequency conversion unit 15 which converts a received broadcast signal to a broadcast signal in an intermediate frequency band larger than the frequency band of the signal when it was received; and a frequency synthesizer 23 which supplies a carrier frequency used for demodulating a broadcast signal to each of the plurality of OFDM demodulation circuits 21a through 21n, so that the broadcast signal converted to the intermediate frequency band by the frequency conversion unit 15 will be demodulated separately by each of the plurality of OFDM demodulation circuits 21a through 21n provided corresponding one for one to the plural channels a through n. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
