<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine stator capable of increasing bonding strength of a conductor element in a simple configuration, which allows simplification of manufacturing work. <P>SOLUTION: A stator 10 includes a multiple-phase segment annular part wound by distributed winding around a stator core. A segment annular part of each phase includes a plurality of segment coils and is formed by joining a plurality of conductor segments 28 at a welded part 50. The welded part 50 joins peeling parts 48 which are made by peeling off an insulating coating 38 at a tip of the mutually joined conductor segments 28.
