<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start at least a partial function in an early stage by improving the efficiency of an initialization process in a multiprocessor system. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU #0 initializes a MEM #0, DEV #0, and DEV #2 that are hardware devices for use in booting an OS prior to the initialization of a DEV #1 that is a hardware device not used for booting the OS, and the OS is booted using the MEM #0, DEV #0, and DEV #2. Further, a CPU 102 initializes the DEV #1 in parallel to the booting of the OS. The hardware devices for use in the booting of the OS is preferentially booted so as to boot the OS in the early stage, so that, even when all the initialization processes are not completed, a partial application (APP #0) can be started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
