<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic sensor that has a compact configuration and excellent detection performance of a magnetic field and is easily manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic sensor includes a first and a second MR elements that contain a magnetization fixed layer 63, an intervention layer 62, and a magnetization free layer 61 in order respectively and show resistance changes in opposite directions with each other by a signal magnetic field. Here, the magnetization fixed layer 63 in the first MR element has a synthetic structure including a pinned layer 631, a bonding layer 632, and a pinned layer 633 in an antiferromagnetic coupling with the pinned layer 631 in order from the intervention layer 62 side. With the synthetic structure, the total magnetic moment of the pinned layer 633 is larger than that of the pinned layer 631. On the other hand, the magnetization fixed layer 63 in the second MR element is composed of a single or a plurality of ferromagnetic materials. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
