The purpose of the present invention is to provide a plate heat exchanger configured so that fluid entering the heat exchanger is evenly distributed to heat exchange conduits. A plate heat exchanger (100) is provided with: a primary pipe (210) which is a primary pipe inserted in a first stack direction conduit (41) in such a manner that the longitudinal direction of the primary pipe (210) is aligned with the stack direction (X); and secondary pipes (220) which are secondary pipes communicating with the inner space of the primary pipe (210) and which are disposed at the primary pipe (210) at the positions of first conduits (21). The secondary pipes are configured in such a manner that the length of protrusions (223) protruding from the inner diameter-side surface of the primary pipe (210) into the inner space of the primary pipe (210) decreases with progressive positions in the direction (X) of insertion of the primary pipe (210) into the first stack direction conduit (41).
