<p>Use of organic dye systems in foundry molding materials, which contain sand and a molding material binder system and are cured with the aid of the foundry molding material, is claimed, where the foundry molding material added dye system changes color during the curing of the foundry mold material and retains this changed color for at least one minute after the end of curing. Independent claims are included for: (1) the foundry molding materials; and (2) a method for the optimized production of foundry sand cores from the foundry mold material comprising shooting the foundry mold material into a core box having many vent nozzles and gassing for curing, where, after the production, the curing degree of the foundry sand core is visually checked, and the foundry sand cores are optimized by laying, opening or closing the vent nozzles of core box over several production cycles.</p> |
