The container (1) has an integrated level sensor (9) comprising a meander-shaped electrical conductive strip conductor (11), where an inside wall (5) of the container is made of an electrical non-conductive material e.g. plastic and ceramics. The strip conductor is directly applied at the electrical non-conductive material, and the level sensor comprises a thermistor (15). A longitudinal axis of the sensor is arranged parallel or vertical to a base (3) of the container, where the sensor comprises a plug contact (23) i.e. punched bus bar, that is arranged on an outer side (6) of the container. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a liquid container.
