METHODS AND DEVICES FOR DETERMINING COMPLIANCE OF AN EMITTED RADIO FREQUENCY ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD FROM AN ANTENNA OF A RADIO BASE STATION

Methods and devices for determining compliance of emitted radio frequency electromagnetic field from an antenna of a radio base station are provided. In accordance with the embodiment data for the electromagnetic field stored and a number of relevant points of the electromagnetic field around the antenna in which compliance is to be determined are determined. At least two different assessment methods for assessing exposure to electromagnetic field are selected and, for each relevant point first applying a first assessment method having a higher rank of the selected assessment methods to determine whether the electromagnetic field is compliant in each relevant point, and then applying an assessment method with a lower rank. Hereby the slowest algorithm can be caused to only influence a minor part of the calculation leading to a fast overall method.
