FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine and method for cutting continuously extruded tube to lengths. Proposed machine comprises guide, slide with device to drive said slide on said guide. Said slide can displace along said guide parallel with tube displacement. Slide comprises first tube cutter with first cutting tool that defines first cutting plane across direction of displacement. Said slide comprises second tube cutter ahead of first cutter and has second cutting tool. Second cutting tool is remote from said first cutting tool to define second cutting plane that crosses direction of tube displacement. Machine is equipped with grippers for tube lengths. Additionally, proposed machine control means to control said drives and means to measure relative displacement between tube and said first and second cutting planes.
