<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that a toner charge amount and rising of a toner charge amount are more sensitive to changes in a temperature and humidity environment, thereby the image density is changed during printing, and particularly under a high temperature and high humidity condition, failure such as an image fogging associated with an uneven charge amount distribution can be induced. <P>SOLUTION: A toner contains an aromatic compound having a carboxyl group represented by formula (1), and a colorant. In the formula, R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>to R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a carboxyl group, an alkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, or an alkoxy group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms; R<SP POS="POST">4</SP>to R<SP POS="POST">8</SP>each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, an alkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, or an alkoxy group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms; and m represents an integer of 1 to 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
