ELECTRIC WIRE PROCESSING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire processing device capable of preventing a defect from occurring in processing performed after cutting a covered electric wire by detecting a bending in an end portion of the electric wire before performing the processing.

SOLUTION: An electric wire processing device comprises: a clamp 11 holding a part close to a terminal part of a covered electric wire 10; a processing unit which performs prescribed processing for a terminal part 10a of the covered electric wire 10; a movement mechanism 21 which moves the clamp 11 to the processing unit; a terminal part transit detection body L1 which detects that the terminal part 10a of the covered electric wire 10 held by the clamp 11 passed a prescribed position when the clamp 11 is moving to the processing unit; and bending detection means for detecting a bending of the covered electric wire 10 on the basis of transit detection of the terminal part 10a by the terminal part transit detection body L1.
